The Process - Overview

Other than the price of a new home, the thing that most frightens owners is the building process. You don't know where to begin or what to expect. We know this, so we make the whole thing easy for you.

We start with an initial meeting and discuss design and building costs. Once the budget and design ideas come together, Mark begins producing detailed 3-dimensional drawings, working together with the owner.

At the same time, we begin examining the permit and site requirements: well, septic, access, utilities, etc. All of these are incorporated in the initial design and price. Once detailed drawings are ready, the owner is taken on a "virtual tour" of their new home on the computer. They can check every aspect of the design: door and window placement, room layout, exterior design, interior and exterior color selection.

After all details are agreed upon, we give the owner a detailed price for the construction of their new home. Contracts are signed and construction begins.
